Who are the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of the C-Suite?
You might be asking, what are Beyoncé & Jay-Z doing in our newsletter? Ok, that’s a valid question, but stay with us for a minute. Here at Act-On, we’ve been thinking a lot lately about the converging worlds of marketing and customer success, and how the CMO and CCO need to work more closely together to drive retention and loyalty throughout the customer journey. In fact, we’re leveraging marketing automation as a key enabler to make this happen, with both functions working together on campaigns and programs that drive product adoption, upsell and renewals. In this way, the CCO and the CMO are becoming the new C-Suite power couple – just like Beyoncé and Jay-Z. But for B2B. Yes, really.

Have a look at this recent article in CMS Wire featuring our very own CEO Andy MacMillan, on why he thinks this is the next big thing to tackle in C-Suite alignment. We’d love to hear more from you about how marketing and customer success are coming together in your organization - join the conversation in the Act-On Marketing Masters group on LinkedIn.
